Fraud Alert

We have become aware of a fraudulent LinkedIn profile operating under the name “Cherry Cui”. This profile falsely claims to be an investor partner of Genting Group and holds executive positions in the following companies that are purported to be associated with Genting Group:

• Genting Sky International (Group) Industrial Development Co., Ltd
• Yunding International (Group) Development Industry Ltd
• Genting Sky Aviation Leasing Holding International (Group) Co., Ltd
• Guangzhou Genting United Industrial Ltd
• Shenzhen Genting United Industrial Ltd
• Huaiji Xingfu Subdistrict Yunding Trading Company

In relation to that, we have also identified a WeChat account operating under the name “Cherry Cui Shu Fen” that is linked to an official account named “云顶联合” (Genting United).

Genting Berhad hereby expressly state that it has no association, affiliation or relationship of any kind with the companies listed above and the individual using the name “Cherry Cui” or “Cherry Cui Shu Fen” on LinkedIn or WeChat. Appropriate reports to the relevant authorities will be lodged. We will not accept any responsibility over matters relating to the above and reserve all our legal rights.

We strongly encourage the public to:

• Be aware and vigilant when dealing or interacting with any business that uses the “Genting” name or trademark as part of their company name or product or service offering; and
• Verify the authenticity of any Genting-branded products and/or services directly with Genting Berhad or check our website www.genting.com to verify the businesses and companies related to the Genting Group.

Fraud Alert

It has come to our attention that information regarding certain companies within the Genting Group and our resort properties, and of some of our Directors, has been used without our permission or authority in brochures, social medias, forums, messaging mobile applications and documents to recruit participants to a purported multi-level marketing, profit sharing and/or similar investment schemes.

Please take note that Genting does not operate and does not recruit participants to any sort of schemes and we take no responsibility for the contents contained in any such brochures, social medias, forums, messaging mobile applications and documents or for any loss suffered by anyone in connection with any such schemes.
