Senior Mill Manager

Base

Based in Ketapang, Kalimantan

Responsibilities

Execute and manage of oil mill construction project and assist in commissioning.
Liaise with local contractors in project execution.
Manage operational aspects of the milling process, including efficiency, utilisation, product quality and labour.

Requirements

A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields from a recognised institute of higher learning, preferably 1st Grade Steam Engineer.
Minimum 10 years working experience in oil mill management.
Must be results orientated in accordance with approved KPI.
Possess strong leadership qualities and good communication skills.
Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both oral and written. Ability to speak in Bahasa Indonesia will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of ISO QMS and EMS.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Senior Manager - Corporate
(Corporate Communications and Investor Relations)

Base

Based in Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate and execute the Company’s corporate communications strategy and functions.
Handle media and investor relations and ensure timely and effective dissemination of information through all relevant channels.
Write and edit internal and external communications materials and publications.
Monitor, review and compile media coverage and research reports on the Company and the industry.

Requirements

Manager - Risk Assessment and Insurance

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the Company's risk assessment methodologies.
Administer the risk assessment initiatives of the Company.
Promote risk management awareness.
Oversee the insurance portfolio of the Company ensuring adequacy of insurance coverage and administrating claim process.

Requirements

Accountants

Base

Position 1

Responsibilities

Oversee monthly closing of financial accounts.
Administer quarterly reporting to Bursa.

Requirements

Degree / Professional qualification in Accounting
Minimum 4 years working experience in external audit or accounting environment.
Member of MIA.
Sound knowledge of Accounting Standards with strong analytical skills.

Position 2

Responsibilities

Analysis of financial data, key performance indicators and preparation of variance reports.
Forecasting, budgeting and financial modeling.
Handle periodical management reporting and report writing.

Requirements

Civil Engineer

Base

Based in Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities

Responsible for the civil and structural engineering design, planning and management of building works and construction projects.
Coordination of work with the sub-contractors and to monitor the progress to ensure the completion is within the specified time frame and the work is in compliance with the required specifications / standard.
To conduct inspection / checking on work, measurement and survey control.
To attend to technical matters on site and be proactive in problem solving especially all engineering-related complexities without undue delay.
To access, evaluate and determine technical feasibility of new projects / construction works that are in planning or tendering stage or pre-qualifying stage.
Ability to liaise effectively with consultants, subcontractors and other relevant government authorities to achieve delivery objectives.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent.
6-8 years' relevant engineering and site experiences handling civil construction projects involving project design, planning, organizing and execution in consultants' offices or large developers.
Experience in civil infraworks, earthworks, drainage or sewerage projects will be an advantage.
Knowledge in surveying by using a Total Station is preferable.
Able to work under pressure and extended working hours.
Able to prepare quantity of materials for tender or to order.
Computer literate with good knowledge of ACAD application.
Analytical, detailed and results-oriented, able to work with minimum supervision.

Accounts Supervisors

Base

Based in Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities

Position 1 (3 vacancies)

To assist in daily accounting functions and monthly closing activities including month end journal preparation and processing.
Preparation of monthly reconciliation schedules, expenses analysis and other reports according to deadline.
Assist in other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the superior.

Position 2 (1 vacancy)

To assist in computing deferred tax for a group of companies.

Biostatistician

Plant Breeder

Tissue Culturist

Bioinformatician

Base

Responsibilities

Define and prepare study designs and/or research plans the company's R&D activities.
Develop and implement a bioinformatics platform to support R&D activities in genome analysis and related field.
Allocate bioinformatics support services to the company's R&D activities.

Requirements

MSc or PhD qualification in the relevant field and at least 5 years of working experience.
Minimum 5 years in biotechnology industry and/or post-doctoral experience including significant experience with bioinformatics.

Software Developer

Assistant Engineers

Responsibilities

To assist the Manager on the day-to-day mill operation, troubleshooting and control.
To lead palm oil mill's maintenance by planning, scheduling, implementing, reviewing and improving maintenance programs.

Requirements

A Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Marine / Chemical / Material / Manufacturing Engineering or related fields.
Minimum 1 - 2 years working experience, preferably in the oil mill operations.

Senior Assistant Managers / Assistant Managers

Based in Estates in West Malaysia & Sabah

Responsibilities

Candidate will assist the Estate Manager in all aspects of estate operation and management.

Requirements

A Diploma / Degree in Agriculture or those with very good SPM or STPM results and who have passed all the requirements for Incorporated Society of Planters membership.
Minimum 5 - 6 years’ working experience in oil palm plantations for Senior Assistant Manager position and 3 - 4 years for Assistant Manager position.
Possess leadership qualities and able to work independently. Conversant with the use of personal computer is highly desirable.
Willing to be based in West Malaysia or Sabah Operating Units.

Trainees (Agriculture)

Base

Based in West Malaysia / Sabah Estates

Responsibilities

The individual will undergo 6-month in-house training programs, project assignments and hands-on estate operations in order to acquire the right skills. The training programs encompass various plantation operations such as Oil Palm Nursery Practices, Weeding Management, Pests and Diseases, Manuring of Oil Palm, Pruning of Fronds, Harvesting, etc.
Upon completion of the training programs, the individual will be assigned to the estate either in West Malaysia or Sabah to assume full responsibility of the Probationary Assistant Estate Manager.

Requirements

Candidates with a Diploma/Degree in Plantation Management, Agricultural Science or related discipline.
Some knowledge and experience in the oil palm industry will be added advantage.
Excellent interpersonal skills, resourceful and has strong analytical skills.
Able to supervise and motivate staff/workers besides possessing initiative and drive.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
